Twins Fall to Conference Rivals

Jordan Wright. Twins Basketball

The Twins took on the Schenectady County Community College Royals in a Mountain Valley Conference matchup Sunday.  The 2 – 2 Twins looked to win their first conference game of the season.  The game got off to a slow start for both teams.  The Twins would trail at the half by six points with a score of 28 – 21 going into the second half.  The second half saw much more scoring from the Twins with 44 points in only the second half.  They would outscore the Royals in the second half, but it wouldn't be enough as the Twins fall to the Royals by a score of 70 – 65.  Freshman Rayquan Bryant led the way for the Twins with 17 points and six rebounds. Freshman Jahrice Ballard contributed 10 points and Freshman Bright Afful led the team in rebounding with 10 rebounds.  The Twins will play again Tuesday November 14th at home.  They will be taking on SUNY Broome at 5 pm for the women and 7 pm for the men.
