Lashua Named Head Women's Soccer Coach
Hudson, N.Y. - With the women's soccer program starting back up at Columbia-Greene Community College, the first step is finding a coach. The athletics department recently confirmed that longtime local soccer coach, Andrew Lashua, will be filling the position. Lashua spent four years coaching soccer at Windham-Ashland-Jewett High School. He went from Junior Varsity to the Varsity head coach. His time with the varsity team was very successful as they finished as Delaware League Upper Division Co-Champions. They then went on to make it to the second round of sectional playoffs two years in a row. These were firsts for the program. Over his four years coaching at Windham-Ashland-Jewett, his teams accumulated a 41-12-2 record. Most recently Lashua was the assistant for the Cairo-Durham High School Varsity team in 2017. Then in 2018 he coached the Cairo-Durham modified team. He has coached most age groups in different youth soccer leagues and has shown that he can be successful. We are excited to welcome Andrew to the Twins family!
