Daniella Weinschreider Twins Spotlight

Daniella Weinschreider plays at both the guard and forward position for the Twins women’s basketball team.  She graduated from Sewanhaka High School on Long Island.  Weinschreider is currently a freshman math and science major at Columbia-Greene Community College.  On the court, Weinschreider has flourished.  She currently averages 10.4 points per game in 16 games played.  After missing a portion of the first half of the season due to injury, she has been one of the top shooters for the Twins.  Since the winter break, Weinschreider has averaged over 15.5 points per game.  Her highest scoring effort came when the Twins took on Herkimer College at home.  Weinschreider scored 24 points and had four rebounds and three assists in a Twins victory.  Her high scoring achievements come from her fantastic shooting percentage.  She currently has a shooting percentage of 51.8% which is the highest on the team.  She also shoots well from the three-point line with a 44.3% shooting percentage from deep.  In fact, Weinschreider was a large contributor to the Twins 20 made three-pointers against Herkimer College.  She finished the game with five of the 20 made threes. Weinschreider has been a key contributor to the Twins success this season.  Her and the Twins look to continue dominate this season.  Below are some fun facts about Daniella Weinschreider.
