Columbia Greene Community College Men’s Basketball team squeezed by SUNY Adirondack on Thursday, February 21st. The college honored their four sophomores for their contributions over the years and unwavering dedication.
The Fulton-Montgomery Community College Raiders traveled to Columbia-Greene on Presidents Day to battle it out with the Twins. The Twins are currently sitting in the last playoff spot coming off a loss to #2 ranked Herkimer College.
The Twins men’s basketball team had a weekend that featured back to back games. Saturday, they took on North Country Community College at home. Sunday, they traveled to Tompkins Cortland Community College to take on another Region III foe.
The Twins home game that was originally scheduled for January 14th at 3pm has been re-scheduled due to traveling issues. The game against Clinton Community College will be re-scheduled for January 31st with a 5pm tip-off time.
The Twins men’s basketball team played the Schenectady County Community College Royals in mountain valley conference action Tuesday night. The Twins have lost their last three games and four of their last five.
The Twins traveled to the Albany College of Pharmacy yesterday to take on the Panthers. This is the second game of their four straight games on the road. The Twins dropped their last game to the SUNY Sullivan Generals by a wide margin.
The Twins men’s basketball team traveled to SUNY Sullivan yesterday to take on the Generals. They come into this game with a 5-1 record to start the season. Their only loss coming against Cayuga Community College.
The Twins men’s basketball team played two games this past weekend. They took on the Cayuga Community College Spartans on Saturday. The next day they looked to shake off that loss to face the Onondaga Community College Lazers.
Both the men’s and women’s basketball teams participated in the Goldberg Classic this past weekend. The Goldberg Classic is a basketball tournament hosted by Columbia-Greene Community College every year for the past 12 years. It is named after Walter and Grace Goldberg who were huge supporters of athletics at Columbia-Greene Community College.
Twins men’s basketball players Michael Alert and Daniel Folds are close to home at Columbia-Greene Community College. Alert and Folds were teammates at Hudson High School which is just ten minutes from Columbia-Greene’s campus.
The Twins home basketball tournament, the Goldberg Classic, will kick off the 2018-19 NJCAA basketball season. The Goldberg Classic will take place in the Columbia-Greene Community College gym November 2nd and 3rd.
