Ashley Petrocca

Women’s Soccer

Ashley Petrocca is a defender on the Twin’s women’s soccer team. She is a graduate of Hunter-Tannersville High School and currently studies criminal justice right here at Columbia-Greene Community College. Petrocca is a freshman, sporting number 14 in her first season of collegiate soccer. She has stepped up to become a leader on the defensive side of the ball for the Twins. She is one of just a few players on this Twins team to start every game. A gritty player, that’s not afraid to get in front of the ball, she has blocked many shots this season. She fights hard to keep the other team out of the goal box and force them to take bad shots. Petrocca is a key element for this Twins defense.   With a couple of shots as well this season, she has shown the ability to turn that defense into offense.
